College Rules!

The 9/10/Open session will follow collegiate rules, making strategy even more important and providing spectators with an exciting and easy to understand system in which the 10 remains the ultimate accomplishment. Scoring will be open and judges will follow collegiate rules—sitting apart, flashing start values and scores simultaneously.

Once there you will see a bulleted listing in the center of the page. The Link: 2008 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Rules Modifications is a downloadable pdf file summarizing the collegiate system.

The document lists the NCAA Special Requirements and Compositional Deductions in total rather than in addition to, the JO Women’s Code of Points Requirements (L10). No other special requirements or compositional deductions are applicable to collegiate competition unless they are listed in the document. In all other cases the deductions/ values modify, supplement, or replace the specific JO Level 10 rules.
